Remembering 9/11 in 2025

There is so much chaos in the world today and that is why I ask this same question every year on this day. I remember where I was when this happened, do you? I wonder if this tragedy still has the same horrific meaning to everyone as it did when we sat and watched those planes slam into those buildings killing the passengers in the planes and many people in those two buildings while we sat there unable to do anything to stop it. Don’t forget, be vigilant, freedom comes at a price and it’s hard to hold onto, don’t let go.

As we remember the 24th year since this heinous attack was perpetrated on the citizens of the USA, may we take a moment to remember all those who died on this day 24 years ago and thank those who helped in the aftermath. I would like to salute those heroes on flight 93, and all those who, on that day, willingly and unselfishly sacrificed their lives to save the lives of others. I also salute those in our armed services and city, county and state police forces who have given their lives and those who continue to fight for us, selflessly putting their own lives in jeopardy to protect us and others from those who mean to hurt us and our Country. They are all heroes to me and I will never forget. Our country needs to come together, it’s not too late…..yet.

I am also asking today for prayers for Charlie Kirk’s family for peace and comfort, because they lost him to an assassin yesterday, and their loss is great. Our world has lost its way, and is losing its humanity. We need to remember to invite the Savior into our lives everyday, and ask for his help and for protection from those who have lost their way. I will keep praying that those who are not truly lost, can find their way back to the Savior.

Happy Independence Day 2022

Happy Birthday, ie: Independence Day, to the country that I love, the United States of America.  Long may our Flag wave!

We celebrate on the 4th of July but the Declaration of Independence was actually signed on the 2nd and published on the 4th.

Sometimes I think the foundation of our Constitutional Republic is in danger, but my prayers are always that Our Father in Heaven will forgive us from falling away from him and protect our country from dangers of all kinds. Please join me with prayers of your own.

Veteran's Day

For our Military, who have given service and sacrificed for our freedom!

I would like to take a moment to thank all those veterans who fought in the various wars and “police actions” for our freedom.   Thank you for your service, and thank you to your families for allowing you to do that.

I would also like to thank my Dad, who is also a Veteran!

Memorial Day 2019

memorial day

I give a special reverence to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, their lives, for what they loved, a free and safe country for their families and all of us.    May we honor them in all we do and may we always keep this country free and safe in their honor.

May we also always remember that Freedom has a price and all those who have paid that price.
