First two pictures are the peafowl at the farm. The peacock has shed his beautiful tail, but his body is still beautiful :). The peahen is dutifully tending her chicks which are now way bigger at somewhere around 3 months old. Now that it’s not breeding season my son says the peacock “less of a jerk” lol.

My son is having fun designing hats and scarfs for his farm store on his flat bed knitting machines. He has 2 electronic machines and I believe a ribber, several punch card machines, a bulky machine with a ribber and a computerized machine (that runs by itself, that one is cool as heck!) with a ribber. They are how, after a long day of mental tasking at his 8 to 5 job, his farm work and teaching how to knit on the flat bed knitting machines, he relaxes with the knitting machines and in the winter will do some quilting again. The magic of fiber arts for mental relaxation is amazing! He has an amazing spouse that helps him with the farm work and whatever else he needs :).

Last picture is my finished baby blanket, The Brick Work Baby Blanket by Gena Shaffer. Took a while to knit, with my off and on schedule to work on it, but it’s done and in the hands of the mom for her baby :).

Hope everyone is doing well with our crazy Nor’ Easter weather on the east coast, Hurricane on the west coast and all the rain that will be bringing from Texas up! Our farmers are waiting for it to dry up enough to harvest the corn and soybeans, but they might be waiting a while yet :(. Stay well!!!
