I am putting this up one day early, and as we celebrate the USA’s 250th Birthday, we need to remember that we could lose all of this freedom, that our Founders began with the Savior’s help, to create a free nation so we could worship Him according to His will. We can choose to let this go, or we can work to keep it. Keep on your representatives to remind them that we voted for them to keep us free and safe, and to do their jobs or our votes will go elsewhere next election!

The Bishop in my church, reminded us “we have been invited by the First Presidency (the leadership in our Church) to unite together in fasting and prayer this Sunday, “to express gratitude for religious liberty and to pray that it be strengthened throughout the world.” As you celebrate our country’s 250th birthday this weekend, I invite you take a moment to ponder on the great freedoms that we enjoy and how those freedoms have made it possible for Christ’s church to be restored to the earth, and to continue to grow throughout the world. I am grateful to those who serve and who have served our country, and for those that have given their lives, in exchange for the liberties and freedoms that we are so blessed with.”
