Flax Baby Sweater Done :)

I’ve been working on this Flax baby sweater for a while, have been a bit unmotivated for a bit with my knitting and spinning, but working on that. The baby is born and my friend sent me a picture, he’s cute as a button. He will enjoy this this fall and winter. πŸ™‚

I’ve started another baby sweater for a baby that has already arrived as well, but it’s too hot for a sweater so I try not to feel too bad that it’s not very far along at the moment, but she will enjoy it this fall and winter as well. I’ll post more about the pattern and yarn and my start on another day.

On the 1st of July starts the Tour de Fleece :). I will try to spin a little bit everyday that the bikers from the Tour de France ride. But I’m not gonna beat myself up if I miss a day or two, but gonna work on it. I’ll post on Saturday with some pictures of fiber I am going to spin :).

Hope everyone is doing well!

    • Thank you. I haven’t done the Flax Lite, same sweater but because it’s for fingering weight yarn that would be a lot more knitting :P. It was really nice that she made it in so many sizes and two different weights for us to knit.

  1. The sweater is adorable–hope you’ll also see a picture of the baby wearing it! Enjoy your knitting and spinning–now that the weather is slowly cooling down here, I’m beginning to miss the knitting too, and I currently live vicariously through my blogger friends’ projects, haha…

    • Thank you, it’s my go to for a quick baby sweater but my head just hasn’t been in the game lately, I know we all lose our mojo once in a while. Hoping the Tour de Fleece will rekindle it :).

  2. It is a cute pattern. I’m doing TDF too but will miss a couple of days early on because I’m flying to my sisters with only a really tiny (under the seat) carry-on allowance so no room for even a spindle and fluff. I am just to tight to spend money on having a carry-on case. Budget airlines πŸ™„

    • I understand that, I’m not sure I could fly anymore anyway because we have to have a star or something imbedded our drivers licenses in order to fly even abroad. Sounds like something out of WWII to me.
