This is from the Book of Mormon on Christmas Eve day, so I’m putting this up on Christmas Eve day :). The prophet Nephi, son of Helaman, is crying to the Lord because the the wicked had said if the sign of the Savior’s birth did not manifest when the Prophet Samuel had foretold, that they would destroy all those who believed in the Savior, Jesus Christ, and they were preparing to do that.

“And it came to pass that he cried mightily unto the Lord all that day; and behold, the voice of the Lord came unto him, saying:

Lift up your head and be of good cheer; for behold, the time is at hand, and on this night shall the sign be given, and on the morrow come I into the world, to show unto the world that I will fulfill all that which I have caused to be spoken by the mouth of my holy prophets” 3 Nephi 1:12-13
